Structure

The handbook is divided into three parts:

Choice Matrix

It shows 39 methods and tools: each method/tool constitutes the object of a synthetic card. Each tool is catalogued in relation to the problems and the actions to implement. Focusing on each action, the tools and the methods that allow their implementation are identified.

Alphabetical index

The cards are listed in alphabetical order to make their selection easier.

Synthetic cards

These simple cards describe each method in detail and in an exhaustive way. The available bibliography lists the reference works used for realizing the cards. Through the bibliography it is possible to go in depth in the investigation of a particular method. Among the quality methods illustrated: 5S, FMEA, Data analysis, Audit, Benchmarking, Brainstorming, Gantt Diagram, Ishikawa, Problem solving, PDCA, PERT, Pareto, Poka Yoke, SPC, QFD, TPM…
