SCANDINAVIAN AUTOMOTIVE SUPPLIERS (SAS)

SAS is a professional organisation for Scandinavian companies, which supply the automotive industry. SAS contributes to develop the members as suppliers to the vehicle industry by:

  • acting as the branch’s mouthpiece towards the industry, politicians, governments and mass-media, in Sweden and Europe
  • creating meeting points to increase the information and strengthen the relationships between the suppliers
  • initiating activities in order to strengthen competence and uphold the internationalisation.

ANFIA

ANFIA is the national association of the Italian automotive suppliers. It was founded in 1912 to help the newborn Italian motor industry to liaise more effectively with the public administration on all matters arising from the spread of the motor vehicle. According to its articles of association, ANFIA's purpose is to:

  • defend the interests of member Companies, representing them in their dealings with national and foreign authorities, administrations and bodies;
  • to study and solve members' problems in the economic, legal and technical fields;
  • to gather data and information and carry out statistical surveys regarding the sector;
  • to develop activities related to quality in the sector;
  • to develop promotional and exhibition activities in the sector (to this purpose a special service company has been set up, called AnfiaService);
  • to keep public opinion informed about topical issues of interest to members.

AFIA

The Portuguese Association of Automotive Suppliers is the national representative association to the Public Administration and the European Union.
AFIA promotes the development of members in the supply of the automotive industry:

  • being the mouthpiece to the industrial and public authorities and the media, in Portugal as well as abroad
  • establishing meetings that enable the exchange of information and the strengthening of relationship between the partners
  • promoting activities in order to increase the competence and uphold the internationalisation of the companies

SERNAUTO

SERNAUTO is the national association of the Spanish automotive suppliers. Founded in 1967, it has more than 300 member companies. SERNAUTO is very active in the aftermarket, has relations with OEMs, R&D, Environment, Quality (International Automotive Task Force administrator for the ISO/TS 16949 Training for Spain).
